Highly recommended for landscaping services! Prior to contacting Madison Earth Care, my backyard pooled a large amount of water. Jay and his team from Madison Earth Care were able to grade the backyard and flow all of the water away from my home. Great job and will be using Madison Earth Care for future projects.

What truly sets MEC apart is the spirit of unity they cultivate year-round. They understand that creating enchanting outdoor spaces is not just about design, but also about bringing people closer to the beauty of nature and each other. And this philosophy resonates in every nook and cranny of their store and their services.

+ PLUS, their annual 2-day Earth Day extravaganza is a true highlight on our calendar, and has been for the past 10 years! With friendly livestock, tantalizing food trucks, and local vendors showcasing their crafts, it's a wonderful celebration of nature and community coming together in perfect harmony. Seriously, if you have not yet had a chance to check it out, do not miss it next year along with all of their other wonderful events!

Love their garden center - it’s a great place to grab unique gifts or plants for your garden. They host seasonal events where you can check out local crafters, or bring the kids to see some animals & trucks.

Plus, they did some landscaping for my grandma that she had been wanting done for SO long and her yard has never looked better. Just an awesome local business that really cares about their customers & community.

Just wanted to check in and say thanks.  Your team did a great job today.
Glad to be working with you.

“The garden looks wonderful. Thanks for your guidance and input.”

I have had Madison Earth Care for a couple of projects on my property in Durham. They are timely, professional, and communicate well throughout the process. I will use them again and highly recommend them to anyone for their landscaping needs!

“The bed on the hill looks terrific. Really happy. This was your great idea, so thank you!”

When in need of plants or knowledge about plants, we head to Madison Earth Care. They always have a great selection of plants and the staff is super helpful. More than once they’ve helped us find very specific plants for gifts. Could not recommend them more highly!

Helped me make great choices, offered free landscaping consultation! Friendly staff.

Great people and great quality

Thanks to MEC for another project well done. MEC was responsive and professional as always. We have used MEC for several landscaping projects and have been a customer of theirs for over 12 years. Always top tier, quality service. A special thanks to Luke, CJ, Marcos, and Spence on our latest project.

I have purchased many plants from Madison Earth Care from shrubs and trees such as arborvitaes, Junipers, and Dogwood varieties to perennials. I have filled rock gardens as well as a 300 sq foot area on my property. I have also ordered and had delivered 7 yards of mulch to my house. The quality of their products are extraordinary and I always enjoy making trips up to fill in the various portions of my yard. I know that I can always count on quality plants that will take and survive into future growing seasons. I can’t recommend their products enough. Staff are also genial and helpful, and you can tell that management care about their customers. Madison Earth Care are my go to nursery!

Madison Earth Care is one of the last businesses I know that truly seems to care about their customers as well as their employees, the work they did for me on my property for mulching and planting is beautiful. If I had a question it was answered promptly! I will use them for everything now. Even the gift shop and garden center is such a great place to go, if I just need soil, or a gift for a friend. It really is so much better than having to travel further to a chain/box store where the service isn’t as personal. Thank you Madison earth care!

Great place to get flowers. Extremely friendly and they even have a wonderful store dog that greets you and you almost feel like you’re part of the family.

The fine gardening crew at Madison Earth Care has been maintaining my perennial gardens for many years. They arrive once a month eager to prune, deadhead, fertilize, transplant or do whatever else may be needed to be done. James is knowledgeable and able to diagnose issues with struggling plants as well as recommending changes that enhance the garden’s appearance. If you no longer have the time, energy or interest to work in your garden, I recommend contacting MEC.

Can't say enough good things about MEC! They installed granite stairs and a blue stone walkway at our house in Essex. Came out PERFECT!

Great prices and most importantly great people! I got a lot of mulch from this place and they offered me discount without asking. Family friendly place. Thanks for offering your outstanding services!

“Wanted to let you know the work looks great!”

The crew was here this morning!  While I was at Department of Motor Vehicles at 8 am until a little before 12. The crew was working hard and the results are stunning! Some transplanting also. I am very appreciative and extend my thanks to you and the others under your management. Please let them know that their efforts are recognized and valued. I hope to see them again to thank them, and look forward to more to come.

“The gardens look amazing. Thank you, Matt! We appreciate your commitment!”
