Join us for an in depth instructional talk on the best practices to get your garden awake and ready this growing season. Rachel will talk about the best times to fertilize, when and how to prune woody shrubs, including the illusive yet beloved hydrangea and when to start planting for the season. She will also talk about different mulch varieties that we carry and how to use them to enhance and protect your garden. Rachel will share some of her favorite spring blooming shrubs and perennials that thrive here in Madison and how to keep them happy and healthy throughout the growing season.
